St. Xavier's University Kolkata Alumni Association (SXUKAA) was established under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Dr. John Felix Raj, S.J., Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, St. Xavier's University, Kolkata, to enable students passing out of St. Xavier's University, Kolkata to maintain a connect with their alma mater and give them an opportunity to support its all-round development. The Alumni Association was officially registered with the Registrar of Societies, West Bengal on 3rd January 2020 with 135 Life Members, who had passed out from the institute in the year 2019.

St. Xavier's University Kolkata Alumni Association is a member of the Federation of Jesuit Alumni Association of India (FOJAAI) and the World Union of Jesuit Alumni (WUJA).

All students who have been conferred a degree or diploma by St. Xavier's University, Kolkata upon graduation or post-graduation will become members of the Association.

The main objective of the Association will be to maintain liaison between the University and the Alumni/ae, who are into different professions in life, for mutual benefit and also to take up activities that are geared to develop their Alma Mater and to improve society at large and to contribute to national development.
